What would you write?
One idea that I have been toying with is writing a letter to my younger self. I think it is a way to sum up parts of the past that really bother you, or look back on the lessons you may have learned.
If anything, it will help to put to rest anything you may regret from the past. After all hindsight is 20/20 but re-evaluating all the choices that made you who are you are today can only be...

Encouragement!!
I stepped on the scale this morning only to find that I had lost two pounds already!!!!! Probably water weight, but this is a good start and great encouragement for me. Usually at this point I would reward myself with something bad but I am staying strong.
This morning I had half of a banana and a nectarine. I also drank a cup of coffee. Caffeine is not really allowed on this diet but...

New healthy outlook
So after my trip to Europe and now that I have finally finished my days of partying into the wee hours of the morning four nights a week in college, I have come to look in the mirror and have seen someone that I think could use a little work.
I realize that I am not a fat person, but I am disliking the cellulite on my thighs etc.
So I have decided to start a completely natural diet, more-so...

Life isn’t fair, but it’s still good.
When in doubt, just take the next small step.

Escaping the country for a little.
In about three hours I am leaving for Europe. I am so excited, I know it will be the best time of my entire life galavanting throughout Europe with three of my closest friends. The original intention was to leave yesterday, but considering that I would be leaving only a day after my graduation, I was far from ready.
My only hope is that I find another world to re-instill my sense of wonder...

Loneliness is the human condition. Cultivate it. The way it tunnels into you allows your soul room to grow. Never expect to outgrow loneliness. Never hope to find people who will understand you, someone to fill that space. An intelligent, sensitive person is the exception, the very great exception. If you expect to find people who will understand you, you will grow...
A reminiscent senior, a bird, and a revelation.
Last night I rescued a baby bird who would have died had he been left to wander the woods and unable to feed himself. My friends and I spent numerous hours caring for him and feeding him. Today, I put him outside in his box under a laundry basket to protect him from wandering cats. Apparently wandering cats can lift laundry baskets as I watched one run away with my rescue in its mouth, chirping...

Some Quotes I Admire
Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities have crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; you shall begin it serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense.— Ralph Waldo Emerson “ Never refuse an invitation, never resist the unfamiliar, never fail to be polite and never outstay the welcome....
